Copywriting
I’ve created social media content for a variety of brands and clients, including DMA Gold award winning Facebook creative for Lynx, developing high-end concepts for luxury brands like Chivas Regal, and building a suite of design templates as part of a huge Shazam rebrand.
Shown below is a very small selection of the posts I’ve made for those projects (and others).
Chivas Regal
Whilst working in-house at Pernod Ricard (via Oliver Agency) I developed a selection of original concepts around high-budget gifting for the Ultis product range, as well as some new approaches for a partnership between Chivas Regal and high-end phone maker Vertu.
Shown here are a few of my original sketches / scamps.
Shazam
During my time at Shazam working as Senior Brand Designer I developed a suite of new social media creatives and templates for a wide variety of uses - from highlighting new app features such as ‘following artists’ and seeing what they’ve been Shazam-ing, to creating visuals for promoting the ever-popular weekly quiz.
Lynx
Working directly with Account Management & Planning teams, I created content for Lynx’s key social media channels (chiefly Facebook) to drive engagement with consumers & further build the brand’s online presence. This activity proved incredibly successful, and lead to Lynx breaking an important Facebook benchmark, gaining over 1 million Facebook fans.
And yes, I wrote the ‘meteor’ pun. My finest moment.
Linex Probiotics
Partnering with copywriter Craig Hares, I created a brand new campaign idea for Linex Probiotic supplements’ social media platforms.
Using new & original cartoon mascots, I designed a series of illustrated posts to promote various themes around gut health and probiotics in general. I also created a simple method for treating stock photography so a varied visual approach to social content could be taken. This campaign was loved by the client and is soon to be launched across a number of Eastern European countries and then hopefully adopted by other territories.
Yubl
I created a huge amount of in-app content for ill-fated but brilliant messaging app start-up Yubl, which included my own gaming profile ‘Button Mash’, where I single-handedly wrote & designed daily posts for over 3 months - a very small part of my role as Senior Content Designer.
I also developed and ran several other profiles to meet the young adult demographic of the app, engaging them with content we knew they would love, including fitness inspiration and extreme / outdoor sports.
